In 2020, I wrote the infamous [Dave Matthews Band bus incident] Wikipedia page, which quickly blew up online, becoming the 17th most-read Wikipedia article on the anniversary of the event (ranked between the article for YouTube and India).

Since 2025, I have been interviwing the passengers that were aboard the original voyage, the captain of the ship, witnesses, real rock-band bus drivers, and fans, trying to get to the bottom of what it was like to have been on that boat that fateful day.

The film will also feature Wait Wait Don't Tell Me's Peter Sagal and Depths of Wikipedia's Annie Rauwerda with commentary, and is scheduled to be released August of 2027. Keep your eyes open (and your nose and mouth closed)!

The poster, shown here, was painted by a real witness, Tony Moy, for the film, making it the first and only artist depiction of the incident.
